I switched my shift to start super early (I normally work late on Saturdays) because we were going to meet Matt's family for drinks in the evening. He was at work but looked rough, and gradually got worse and worse as the day went on. 

In the end he had to leave at 4 and go home to sleep, so no drinks for us. It was actually nice to have a long evening at home, I got some jobs done and then relaxed very nicely.
