THE DAY THE HOUSE BURNT DOWN

Almost.
Well, it might have done.
But the Household Disaster Team* sprang into action and carried the frying pan, knife and foot high flames outside and flung it on the lawn**.

I can’t believe it. I was standing right next to the hob when the knife, stupidly left in the pan leaning on the side by the HDT, burst into furious flames. I would have blipped it but I realised the knife was worth less than the house and all our possessions. I will NEVER make that mistake again. At least, not unless I have my camera handy.
