Small Skipper

SATURDAY

I managed to get up in time to make the 22 mile journey to Leeds for the Armley Parkrun. It just happened to be their first birthday and they were celebrating in style with cake, ice cream, balloons, bubble machines and lots of cheer. I managed to navigate the heat and the clouds of bubbles in an official time of 24m 45s.

Back home, and despite the heat I managed to do some gardening including raking and mowing the back lawn.

I made a couple of trips down the lane in search of butterflies. Just the usual small skippers, meadow browns and a red admiral.
