Spiderwebbed

The flower pot in the old chimney was lifted to reveal a very big spider. Inside the chimney pot was a mass of webs. The spider lived well on a constant source of insects but grew so large it could not get out through the narrow gap at the base.

Into this natural world came human intervention. The spider was freed from its dark domain into the light and bright open spaces.

However after a few minutes running around it headed back up the chimney and was last seen in the foliage of the Scabiosa
looking to find a route back into the chimney.

Look carefully along the rim of the pot and you might just catch a glimpse
