An encounter on Devils Ridge
We’d a walk in the Mammores today to help celebrate a pal’s last Munro. We started in warm and sunny weather but in the afternoon the weather deteriorated quickly to thunder and lightening and heavy heavy rain. At that point on the walk we were on the “ Devils Ridge” - with some fairly exposed walking and wet rock. Not much fun. We eventually got to the final Munro and had a brief celebration in monsoon conditions. A memorable outing but perhaps not for the obvious reasons. The blip is of the lower part of the Steall Falls in Glen Nevis - taken as were waiting for our transport home.
