Blues

This Common Blue with two huge red ticks on either side of his neck is definitely having the blues. No going back I think from this one! 

Giving in finally, to constant demands from the dogs all the time I was swishing the Breeze House with another millionth coat of stain, for walkies. I hadn't noticed how much I must have been splashing it all on yesterday as Poppy now looks rather Dalmatian like but is thankfully blissfully unaware and still insisted on sitting sooo close to the brush today! 

Prestbury Hill Nature Reserve called and gosh it was windy up there so all the insects were hunkering down, flying a little then lying close to the ground so as to not get blown away. I adopted that principle. Worked ok.
