A final push to the Shore

The independent Hornsea Inshore rescue crew had just answered a shout from a boat out at sea with an engine failure, and here they are after releasing the tow (see additional image) hand balling the stricken boat the last few yards to the beach where it was recovered.
The mighty RNLI with it fleet of 380 rescue vessels still doesn't provide a rapid reponse locally and here a dedicated band of locals supported by local fund raising and business support, fill in the gap, working in co-operation with the coastguard, Air-sea rescue and the RNLI
There is another privately funded rescue boat up at Runswick Bay too
