Seen from a train
The temperature was rising and the sun came out as we took the Scot Rail train to Mallaig. (A fraction of the cost of the steam train. The crowds at Glenfinnan viaduct were huge!) The views were superb. A Channel 4 film crew were on board the return. It was delayed by the Caledonian Sleeper breaking down and eventually reaching Fort William almost four hours late. Seagulls nest on the rails at Mallaig and their chicks are reared in the ballast! Back at the camp we enjoyed the first of three stunning sunsets!
