Love in a Mist

The last day of June. I feel a little sad that it is nearly gone as the last three months are usually the time of year that I love best.

Thankfully today was cooler than yesterday. I’ve been to the allotment to pick gooseberries and black currants. Otherwise I have rested as I seem to have a virus which is leaving me worn out after not doing much at all.

I came across this nigella plant growing out through a gap in the fence of a front garden. It seemed to be reaching out to cheer the day of passers by.
