75,000 breeding pairs

A boat trip out to Craig Leith and Bass Rock was astonishing. Such a wide range of seabirds, but the most amazing sight was the 75,000 pairs of gannets nesting, along with juveniles. The rock looked like it was covered in daisies in full bloom, not sea birds with a wing span of 2m! The aerial display was something else.
