Cross car

The owner came by when I wanted to take a picture. After a chat, he told me that the car actually had to be on the cross track today.
When I looked in the car it was just scrapped. There was no engine, gearbox, pedals or steering wheel. Only many joists and no floor.
How he wanted to get that done will always remain a mystery.
