Auntie Fiona, look at the dolls house!

Whilst most of the boys went to the cricket, the girls (and J!) went to Nunnington Hall.  E loved the miniature rooms, and the playroom. We all enjoyed the picnic and the gardens (and the ice-creams in the tea garden). A beautiful peacock posed for us at lunchtime as well. And I really enjoyed the exhibition of the British Wildlife Photography Awards (and so had to buy the book - and then explain to J that books are obviously exempt from the rule that something has to go before anything new comes in the house!)
