Ben Nevis

Today we struck our west coast camp and had brilliant weather all day. We stopped near Fort William to marvel at the cloudless Nevis range. We also wondered where all the midges had gone as we hardly saw any all week! We made the mistake of stopping at Urqhart Castle, briefly. It was heaving with tourists who flocked there by land and Loch Ness! (Jacobite cruises compete with steam train for predominantly Chinese punters. ). We made good time and arrived at our second site at Findhorn.
