Pretend birthday

As no one knew when Mollies birthday was when I had her I decided to pick a date for her and went for the middle of the year. So it's her pretend 6th birthday. She was sold to me as a great family dog but since owning her for just over two years now I realise that's not true. I think in the past she has been tormented by a child, she is petrified of them and hates bangs and clatters. If she finds things all too much she will take herself off and hide behind a chair for a while and come out when she’s feeling brave again. I just have to be patient and let her do her own thing as it’s her coping mechanism. Hopefully one day she will leave the past behind and relax more . She also has a nasty bend in her tail. I’ve a feeling it got pulled a lot. If only they could talk. She is very loved now. Happy pretend birthday little one.
