Northern Pintail At Beal Wetlands

Today we took a birding trip out to Beal Wetlands just north of Forest Grove. What a delightful little pond this is!! The habitat is amazing...I saw two new ducks that I had not seen before, the Cinnamon Teal and the Northern Pintail. We spent over an hour there and finally a lone Northern Teal took a swim close to us...otherwise they were at the far end of the pond. I was overjoyed!!! Together we took 100's of shots...got to use the new 400mm lens and the monopod...what fun!
