Harrogate Then & Now...

... is a recurring theme on my journal and often appears on Mondays, because that is when I volunteer at the local library helping to archive their photo collection.

This shows 3 Cambridge Crescent / Parliament Street as a Chemist shop, probably in the mid-1930s, and today's photo shows the same site occupied by a couple of banks. With the banking system keen to reduce the number of branches, who knows what the future holds for this corner.

By coincidence, yesterday's blip was taken diagonally across the road from today's (but I did go home in between!).
