Melrose Abbey (weather back to normal)

Taking a short(ish) day back toward home with a stop at Melrose - the abbey looking pretty impressive despite the return to drizzle.

A couple of other tourist asked me if I was a photographer? ... foolishly, I answered yes, but thankfully they just wanted to know why the sky was flashing on the back of their camera.  I did manage to explain it to them, but  was more impressed by their command of English - they sounded as if South American Spanish was their first language.
