Eryngium Bourgatii .....

..... better known perhaps as Mediterranean Sea Holly. 
The walled garden in Cambo Estate has clumps of many different varieties of Eryngium and they are just beginning to turn into that wonderful shade of blue.

Togbe is not too keen on gardens or photographers so we left him in the car while we enjoyed our botanical wander. T's reward for being a 'good boy' was a lengthy walk along the sand dunes at Kingsbarns.
