Tonight was the 50th Anniversary of the Viaer Marchi which is a traditional local evening where many islanders turn out to taste local delicacies and listen to singers singing in the local patois. Guernsey dancing and bands also perform. It’s a great occasion to meet old and new friends. The weather was perfect too! These three folk are dressed in the traditional Guernsey Bonnet and are making butter pats.
