Barbara

This is my lovely next door neighbour Barbara. Today she was 99! Amazing lady. She is pretty wobbly in her feet and had a fall in April and was in hospital for 4 weeks.

Her daughters had an afternoon tea organised and there were some neighbours in and a few friends and cake, sandwiches and tea. Also, a 99 cone :)

We had a chat at one point and sadly she said that a lot of people aren’t here anymore, and her phone book has a lot of names scored out....

I felt sad for her, although it’s a great achievement you can’t help but miss all the friends that have departed.
