A visit to the garden

Today I drove around looking for a Goodwill location at which I could donate the latest round of stuff.  The first one had already filled up their truck.  The second already had nine cars lined up and only two workers.  As I had to be in Edmonds for some lab work, I found the Goodwill location, which had a shorter line and more workers.

On a visit to Lex's garden, I came across this Chinese goddess I'd not seen before.  I vaguely remember Lex mentioning she'd gotten it, but I'd forgotten.  It's beautifully detailed and gives a calm and peaceful feeling.  Then I had a look at that hydrangea bush, which is finally in bloom.  It was a pleasant way to spend time in the garden.
