Eating area, smoking area and toilets.
It was a nice day oot n aboot, less windy and warmer, quiet and peaceful.
We walked up through local farm land; the barley crops are coming on, although still quite green. Elsewhere millions of strawberries are growing in thirty or more very long poly tunnels; essentially several fields are undercover. Three double decker buses were parked up, many of the tunnels had pickers in doing a grand job. This tunnel contained their rucksacks, and there was a smoking area and portaloo toilets adjacent. We know from experience many of the workers are Eastern European; they work hard and help ensure the success of the Scottish soft fruit industry. Local farmers are concerned it may collapse in the next year or so if freedom of movement is as restricted as proposed.
