Early Week ‘Skite’......!!!

As the work starts tomorrow...we couldn’t go on our usual Wednesday ‘skite’....so we decided without any planning we’d go today....and just sometimes it’s good to do things ‘at the drop of a hat’ and we had a grand day out...
We went to Maynooth ..it’s a University town in Co Kildare...it was at one stage the main Seminary for training Catholic priests in Ireland and my photos are of, I presume, the very ancient buildings that housed the same!! And the main gate to the university is just beyond the trees in the first picture...
And of course we found a lovely wool shop and yes of course two beautiful 200gr balls of soft baby wool ‘blocked’ our way as we tried to leave and we just Had o buy them!!!!!
But we’ll keep that quiet....!!
And Oliver Cat was very pleased to see my daughter when she returned after spending the weekend at home...!
He had taken up ‘residence ‘ where she normally sits on their sofa...she sent me this pic today....doesn’t he look comfortable??
