Tractor Tuesday..

The silage contractor in mowing 130 acres of grass ready to chop on Thursday. This yoke of 30 ft cut triple butterfly mowers and 250 Hp tractor makes my wee tractor and mower yesterday look like a Dinkey toy.
Got the job of escorting him home because the roads are narrow and he takes up most of it. Despite me being well in front with headlights on , hazzard lights on and an orange beacon of the car roof and waving them to slow down, some folk know best and fly past you , only to meet a mobile road block heading towards them ! Cue brake lights and a lot of reversing .
Got there in the end though.
Now roll on traffic chaos and moaning locals as the 6 tractor and trailer convoy starts hauling at the end of the week .
