Cable

When I told the person on the phone at BT that my telephone cable had been cut, he said he didn't think it was necessarily them that had done it (despite them having been up that particular pole yesterday on a job for our neighbour). 

Now, I'm not saying it's quiet where we are but if Armageddon came or law and order broke down completely, it would still be several days before a hoodlum decided to go to the filling station at Morrison's and drive off without paying. 

I was comforted to hear that they'll have it fixed by Monday.
