Early Evening

What a glorious day, no complaints!

I nipped out to the Library to take some books back and renew others and called into the Ironmongers for a fuse.

Alan's daughter came for lunch and we actually managed to sit out on the newly painted chairs for a while.   I had to move into the shade as it was very hot, however, not complaining.

I took her home as she lives quite near to my mum and I was visiting her for an afternoon cuppa.   She was in good spirits and enjoying the good weather as we all are.   We arranged to go out for lunch on Friday to the local Garden Centre where there are two very good Chefs in the kitchen, so looking forward to that.

Home again and after tea, were able to sit out again once the sun had come around again.

Today's blip taken looking towards an old building on the canal side, you can just see the roof   Not sure if it is occupied or not.

Let's hope this weather continues.
