Beach Party

Today's the day …………………… for a picnic

Cousin Anne arrived today for a flying visit - so we thought we would show her a bit of Galloway.  The day was sunny and warm, perfect for a picnic lunch.  So that's what we did on our way to Logan Botanical Gardens.

It's a while since we've been to Logan Gardens, so it was good to see them looking better than ever.  There are such a lot of interesting and unusual plants there, you really could spend a long time looking at everything.  The extras are the beautiful sunshine yellow Brachyglottis greyi, a native of New Zealand - and a poppy seadhead sculpture amongst the flowers...………………..
