The road to a friend's house...

...is never long...
Another very sociable meet with the Wallsend Girls this evening ;) 
And of necessity a late posting on my return - I gather many photographic platforms have experienced problems today ;)
The pier at Tynemouth is a long one measuring about half a mile, and in my youth a popular place for a stroll to take in the sea air - this afternoon's long shot is as we arrived this afternoon, after my Pilates class.
