Nighthawk

Broad reach

These three were jostling for position to be first past the bouy. You can see by the bend in the masts they were all trying very hard !
The conditions were quite good for a sail today - about 8c but with quite a high wind-chill factor. The sun was shining making the water a deceptive blue. Plenty of wind - about force 5 - made it quite exciting for these small sail boats. Not too much back pressure from the trees today.
The rescue boat was used a couple of times whilst I was watching.
The last thing to do is spend more time than necassary in the water at this time of year - brrrr !!
