Special Pendant

I don't wear this often but today's wardrobe was centred around it as we attended the funeral of the colleague who took the collection and purchased it on behalf of the department for my leaving gift.  She knew me well - Christmas gifts might be elephant-themed, or Chinese painting.

I remember her many kindnesses, as did the speakers this afternoon  and, though it was a delight to see so many familiar faces, she will be sadly missed.
