After the deluge
For the first time in ages the river level has fallen far enough to make it possible to pass under the viaduct to reach the "new" stretch of the Avon. This is the artificial course of the river dating to the building of the railway in 1837. The old course is now forms the fishing lakes.
As you can see although the river is lower than this time last week it is still in flood and the poodles got their feet wet
