Against the wind.
Good thing about this windy weather is that it slows the birds down long enough to get a half decent shot.
Started out quite promising and bright this morning, however the rain as usual did turn up late morning, but at least it waited until we'd had the dogs out. 7 in all, I had 5 and my son came along with his two. So was a bit hectic till they all got off their leads and were allowed to chase after their ball. We do get quite a few odd looks from people when we release the hounds but they soon realise they are friendly and only want to play with their ball.
The tide was out so we had a far stretch of beach to go at and avoid groups of people if we needed to. Sam and Playdo decided they wanted to go splashing around in the sea regardless of our calls to stay out. As a result my living room stank of wet dog all afternoon as Sam the retriever lay drying in front of the log burner.
BEEN SUBJECTED TO FOOTBALL ALL AFTERNOON AS HUSBAND HAS MAN FLU AND DECLARED IT WOULD MAKE HIM FEEL BETTER WATCHING IT!!!!
MUST REMEMBER RETAIL THERAPY MAY AID IN MY RECOVERY WHEN I GET A SNIFFLE!!!!!!!!
