The Lonely Leaf

This afternoon Mum, Dad and I went for a walk in Simon's Wood. We stomped through lots of puddles and I took lots of photos. I chose this one because it was the only leaf left on a particularly gnarled old tree, and I thought that sounded a bit like the start of a children's book. Maybe not.

Anyway. Later this afternoon Mum, Rhi and I headed into town for a bit of sales shopping. I bought a new handbag and some half-price toiletries and eyeshadow, and will probably spending the evening trying them all out.
