Cat Food
I had assumed that my cat's eating hobbits were restricted to what I provide. After all he is in late middle age and long past hunting. The wildlife around here simply walks slowly away when he casts an eye in their direction. Today even the squirrels ignored him and a white pheasant, who will no doubt be a victim of the local shoot on January first, appeared not to view Tommy as a threat.
Be that as it may, here he is munching on a mouse. If I were sceptical, which I'm not, I would report that his sister Lucy gave it to him as a belated Xmas present.
