It rained today. What else is new? I didn't see any fireworks, save for what I saw driving to Baltimore to pick up Jill. She's back after seven weeks teaching English in China!

I did check out the 4th of July festivities in Cumberland before leaving, but it was dull. It was just about three dozen old white people, one food truck, and a mediocre band. Sigh. I miss festivals in the big city.
