Aberdeen harbour

On the way back to Orkney. It is always a relief to get on the ferry and put all the hazards of delays and missed connections behind one. I like the rail journey from Glasgow to Aberdeen although the weather wasn't too sunny. Given the recent storms I shouldn't complain. I watched for wildlife, between working on a cryptic crossword and saw a couple of buzzards and also, for the first time from this train, two red kites!
