Im and I went to the "Weavers of the Clouds: Textile Arts of Peru" exhibition at the Fashion and Textile Museum near London Bridge. It was more interesting and varied than I'd anticipated with a range of techniques, mediums, and eras on display. I was pleased to notice that the Peruvian weavers had (and have) a suitable reverence for birds, with many avian details showing up in their designs both ancient and modern.
