The fuchsia...
... is out! The hedgerows are reddening and will soon be joined by orange montbretia and purple loosestrife to make a wild display. It's an escapee of course but one that seems to be loved, it's even the emblem of West Cork. Another glorious day - we reached the giddy heights of 20C with a light breeze - blissful. I did a bit of gardening, started to read my new book Dingle Peninsula Archaeological Survey (now out of print, fat and full of fascinating information - yes, even holy wells) and then had a leisurely swim.
And Bantry Tool Hire will be delighted to take wheelbarrow orders!!
