A full day in the garden today. First lot of weeding and first cut of the new lawn. I decided to take photos of all the new plants with their labels and then remove the labels and keep them for care instructions. In the process I came across this ladybird. Only when I put the photo on the computer did I notice what I think might be small insects/aphids - but I'm not sure maybe they are just little bits of sand. When I went back to the plant in question - with my glasses on - I could see neither ladybird or tiny insects. So either they were not insects or the ladybird ate them all. Who knows?
