Oor Wullie .....

Another day of silage mayhem. They had the pit filled here by mid day so had to cart the last 20 acres to the pit next door , which means muggins here will have 2 silage pits to sheet.
Bit the bullet after lunch and made a start putting the plastic sheet and tyres on the pit here. A wee bit hairy getting up the face with a tractor as it’s very steep but managed to not tip the tractor !
By 10 pm tonight I had half of it covered. Always amazes me how everyone suddenly makes themselves scarce when this job is on !
I spotted this fine wee lad at Edinburgh airport last night/ this morning while waiting to pick junior up from his week in Zante . Not sure what they are for , as have spotted others around Edinburgh recently . No doubt someone will tell me !
