Turned Carrots

Do you know what a turned carrot is?

Jessica is cooking our Christmas Eve dinner tomorrow night. She has just qualified as a Chef. On the menu is turned carrots.

A turned carrot is exactly 7 cm long, cut with 7 faces in an oblong form. I had a go. Not as easy as it looks.

It's pretty, but is it worth it?
