Sunrise viewing

I know, you don't expect people appearing to be dressed for snow in the Red Centre of Australia.

It gets very cold on those clear cloudless winter nights, and the following night we were glad for our down sleeping bags and good camping gear as the temperature bottomed out at -1C.

This is Miss C and I larking around just after the sun had risen, illuminating the distant Uluru with a soft golden light.

We shared morning prayers together as we waited for the sun to appear, which was rather special.
