Pollok House

Built in 1752 Pollok House was gifted to the City of Glasgow in 1966 and is now managed by the National Trust for Scotland. It sits in the beautiful 361 acre Pollok Country Park. The Park is an easy stroll from where the Glasgow family lives and a good pram/dog walk. There is also a very good cafe in the former servants' hall of Pollok House.

An easy drive to Glasgow and back today. The weather has been lovely and just right for walking. After the cake I consumed in Glasgow it better be salad for me this evening.
