an unhealthy end to 2012!

with Prince in residence, i slept on the settee. wasn't a bad nights sleep, as it's comfy, but woke up at 6am feeling shocking with cold, sore throat and swollen glands. tea, bacon sandwich, beechams ultra tablets for breakfast. Prince was still in the land of nod at half eleven, so had to wake him. did him orange juice (had to get rid of the juicy bits), and a bacon sandwich (well, just the bacon, cos he didn't like bread with 'bits' in it!....seeds!)

beechams had kicked in, and by 1pm i felt the need for a blast of fresh air, and Pete needed a walk too. went out to take some pictures for my 2013 project, the muddiest walk Pete has ever been on! need some kind of dog bobble to tie his ears up when he's walking!

back home, after an hour or so, and then it's chill time. beechams start to wear off, and i felt shocking again! lovely Sunday dinner that i couldn't taste, and a good bottle of chateauneuf de pape, which i couldn't really appreciate....had planned a lovely last meal at home for 2012.

off to bed shortly. mixing a cocktail of honey, lemon, and glycerine, could do a whisky, and plenty of that Vics vapour rub! oh no, hate feeling rubbish, ain't got time to be ill! this time tomorrow night i'll either be wearing party dress or pj's!!! i hope its the dress, and not the dressing gown!
