Maryshill

I love vineyards and thankfully where my mother and brother live is in an area where there are many.  After a lovely drive in the hills to the east, we came to a very pretty winery with stunning vineyards overlooking the Columbia River.  

A few days ago we took my mother to see her doctor.  Her doctor was very concerned about her lungs.  She suggested that we put my mother into hospice.  As we considered this and discussed this - and yes I did quite a bit of research - my mother decided and we agreed that she was not "ready" for hospice yet.  She is still quite active and wants to continue her active lifestyle because that gives her joy.  Who can argue with that?  Not me.  This has made me even more dedicated to living life to the fullest each day.
