Monday Rainstorm

Nice, easy Monday all around. In the afternoon, we sat in the warm, calm backyard and watched the western sky cloud up and darken. Soon a breeze came up, the clouds came over, and it rained. Then it really rained, so we dashed inside and back out again to the front porch to watch some more.
Later, I heard there'd been very high winds and even a funnel cloud in NE Portland. Yikkers.
