1st Annual

I live in a planned community of about 100 homes. It is governed by an HOA (Home Owners Association). The HOA decided, as a first annual event, to host a picnic in order to build community pride.
It was held today under a large tent (6 July) with about 100 residents attending. The. HOA provided the tent, chairs along with burgers and hot dogs and condiments. Residents were asked to bring a beverage of their choice. For the first attempt, it was a success to be followed by other sponsored events, again to promote pride within our development.
