Had my hair cut today which was long overdue and made me feel good. This evening we went to an art exhibition opening, mainly to meet up with friends who invited us. The artist is certainly prolific - in works as well as in words - but her paintings didn’t appeal too much to me. I found the colors repetitive and rather brooding with dull greens and browns dominating her palette in most of the paintings. There is no denying her skill with a brush, however, but who am I to criticize? I have never had an exhibition.
