Oh Hi!

This particular doe is the one who basically lives right here at our house, it would seem. I expect she also knows what happened to my hostas... She's standing behind a cage that The Husband put around an oak tree that he's trying to nurse along. And she's right across the driveway where it passes our front door. I went out to put some more bird seed down for my grackles (ahem) and there she was. She just looked at me and then went back to eating. I presume her fawn is somewhere around - maybe one day soon we'll see it with her! It's about old enough now to follow Mom around, I should think.

It's very hot and humid. And she was being bothered by flies.
