Pre-birthday

A day off today to set off on our Birthday Adventure. Smallest is 10 tomorrow and has no idea what is planned this weekend.

First stop was to drop off MrRoly’s work van at his Mum’s. Unfortunately the entire world was leaving Cornwall so our usual 3hour trip took 6 hours - we joined the traffic jam as we hit the M5 at Exeter and queued all the way to Clevedon.

Smallest was delighted to see his Nanny though, especially when she took us out to his favourite restaurant for tea - a pizza with pasta in the middle.

Fortunately the traffic had cleared by the time we left on our next leg of the adventure, arriving at our Premier Inn before midnight.
